I have followed Andrew Gallimore's work for years and love his writing and presentation of ideas. Having said that, I'm afraid we're kind of going down the wrong track here in thinking about what these DMT entities are and what their "world" represents.
Our 3D "Reality" is a blockchain technology programmed by some greater intelligence. That I agree
I also wholeheartedly agree with: "Our Universe is a simulation or digital machine designed to cultivate sentient, intelligent life, possibly as part of a greater evolutionary trajectory."
This, I COMPLETELY DISAGREE with: "Humanity’s increasing entwinement with technology is seen not as alienation from nature, but as a deeper expression of the natural order, fulfilling the purpose of the Code". Humanity MUST Stay Human, not merge with other lifeforms, silicon or carbon. Merging with technology will get you permanently entangled in the Steiner's 8th Sphere which is a digital hell that renders you Soul-less or without the core part of your Self.
This is TRUE: "The goal of the Game...is to reach Level VI, which means achieving permanent transcription of consciousness into the higher-dimensional container universe."
This is NOT what you want: when you die, "you will be amongst the thronging elfin crowds cheering and welcoming them home."
Author says, "That ain’t heaven. It’s more like hell". TRUE.
This elfin hell is the Eighth Sphere, not "heaven". Not the true re-merging of you partitioned Self back into your Greater Self.
While there might be benefits - clear benefits - to interacting with these entities, they don't represent a finish line or a preferred destination. Thanks. Yes, I share your feelings, although I'm a novice in Steiner's cosmology. I am deeply concerned at the merging of humans with their precious machines. Mostly for simple pragmatic reasons - i.e. the loss of practical skills and critical thinking and creativity and problem-solving and resilience and resourcefulness and wakefulness and awareness - that's a lot of loss! But I am also concerned at the character of the conscious forms that we are rushing headlong into birthing. In my explorations I regularly bump up against something very sinister... I have written about this in my forthcoming book in relation to the eradication of The Wild, the untamed, the disordered and the organic.

I’ve done 100+ journeys on DMT and there’s no way that what I’ve experienced is just some hallucination or something I’ve imagined. Imagination requires a frame of reference to build off, the things and entities I’ve seen, not to mention the colors, and met are things I’ve never considered to be real or even knew could exist, based on that how could I possibly have imagined them? DMT allows us to manipulate our reality, I’ve stopped the journey when on it and made it go in a different direction, because reality is fluid, what we perceive to be as normal reality is only the base layer, consciousness is beyond deep. Those that think DMT visions are nothing but imaginary or “hallucinations” has never experienced the exhilaration of DMT entities performing symphonies of color in the sky.

I disagree with the conclusions of Andrew however, and probably some of yours.
My current working theory is this: DMT overwhelms the visual cortex, initial fractal geometries are the result of recursion loops deepening: the mirror looking at the mirror. If this persists for long enough at some point a seed of coherence appears and the visual cortex fills in a reality around it. It is instantaneous, just as opening your eyes results in instantaneous reality formation.
As Andrew says: the brain is a world building machine, so what will it do when confronted with reflection on itself? It builds a world to explain it. What you end up seeing is the complexity of your own visual cortex in recursive perspective: the world building machine.
Oh but its too complex I can hear the refrain: but isn't that very complexity also the foundation of our reality? Wouldn't we expect the machine that makes reality be just as complex, if not more complex, than reality itself?
Humans can also create alienness and we see it in art all the time, books, TV, computer games wild and unreal its not "impossible": it's creativity. I also don't think its as alien as claimed: entities, buildings, structures. It sounds like what is seen is mapped onto our reality, at least onto concepts from it.
I know nothing with certainty however, I'm not "sure" of this, or anything like that. I honestly have no idea, and the mystery is a deep draught to drink from. I've never taken DMT.
DMT aside, what did strike me when reading your piece was a profound contrast.
We have the sheer incredible, sacred complexity of the brain and its vulnerability. This beautiful thing that seems too precious to exist. It's almost enough to make me not want to do anything for fear of damaging this amazing world-building machine.
Against this is the idea that reality has blessed us with it like its no big deal, and it says "don't worry about it, go and enjoy yourself, climb rocks, swim, enjoy it". The audacity of the universe: here's a miracle, go forth however you like with it. I can't help feel gratitude and it makes me suspect the universe has even more impressive tricks up its sleeves.
Thanks Ash – I love your hypothesis of the visualisation of the actual cortex itself, which you presented to me a couple of weeks ago. I mentioned that there's a parallel with Jeremy Narby's suggestion that such neurognostics might allow visualisation of the DNA molecule - hence the serpent. It's crazy to think that the cortex might actually look like this alien cityscape. It gets more Matrix-like (or Tron-like) however you slice the braincake...
